Residential Park Homes

These are homes built to British Standard BS3632 and are destined for residential park home sites throughout the UK.  There are around 2800 of this type of park within the UK (Please go to "links" on this website for further info on parks).  The parks cater mainly for  people who are about to retire (usually over 50's age group).  To live on one of these parks you will be required to pay Council tax (Usually 'A' band rate - the least expensive) and also a ground rent for services and maintenance provided by the park.  The land that you live on remains the property of the park, but you are protected by the Mobile Homes Act 1983 which provides a set of rules that are aimed to protect residents from unfair practice.  The outside appearance of our homes for residential use is of stucco walls (A paint/cement mixture) as a protective weather proof coating and Decra tiled roofing (zinc aluminium galvanised  steel panels with a ceramically glazed granular top surface).  This is a tried and tested system for walls and roofing that Manor will not compromise in any way!
